Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (2014)

The following weapons appear in the video game Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes:

For weapons relating to its sister game, see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

FN-Style Rifle

Snake's main rifle is the "MRS-4", which has features of both the SR-88 and the FN FNC. It comes equipped with a tactical torch and a suppressor. In the game both this and the "AM-69" both share the same receiver, the only difference being the stock and fore-end.

SAR-80

The guards at the Cuban prison camp are armed with SAR-80s, renamed the "AM-69". This is a highly unusual choice, as the assault rifle is not used at all in America and the prison camp is not only American, but guarded by United States Marines.

This version of the AM-69 comes with an underslung break open breach grenade launcher and variable zoom scope. As with many of the weapons in the game, the grenade launcher shown here being reloaded, is an amalgamation of various other launcher types.

Unidentified Sniper Rifle

Listed as the "M2000-D", it uses 7.62mm rounds, and has a variable zoom scope.

M93-T Smoke/Flare Grenade

An icon for Flare Grenades are seen in IGN's extended gameplay video. They could be used to summon the MSF gunship as Big Boss's extraction method when Big Boss frees Chico and Paz. The outline and nature of the grenade suggests that it is the M93-T Smoke/Flare Grenade.

The 2A42 on Snake's getaway chopper (which is intended to extract Paz and Chico as well, although the viewing ended early due to time constraints). Note that the chopper combines aspects of both the Mi-24D and the Mi-28 Havoc, such as the former's sizable transport bay and the latter's cockpits and its usage of the Shipunov.
