SA Model 1934 L/72 Gun

When Marty discover the Hill Valley of 1955, we can see the two cannons on each side of the monument of the dead in front of the town hall.

AK Jamming

I find it funny that people get so much amusement in the showing of the AK jamming. But I've jammed AKs plenty of times. Usually when a round pops up funny in the magazine during a mag dump. it slams forward at an odd angle and just sits there. You can't eject it by racking the action. You have to dig your finger in the ejection port and pull it out. I've had spent casings literally frozen in the chamber (in AK-47s) as well where I had to remove the magazine, put the buttstock on the ground and KICK down the charging handle with my boot to extract the spent casing (these were live rounds and they were those crappy LACQUERED casings that melted and got 'sticky' when the weapon got hot. but they were genuine COMBLOC issued ammunition). So yes, on full auto you can jam an AK, but it's still more reliable than anything else in a hostile weather/ground environment. MoviePropMaster2008 22:41, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

The AK

I think it's actually an AKM (specifically, an Egyptian Maadi copy), not a Norinco Type 56. In the last image, you can see that it appears to have the .5" AKM front sight (a Type 56 has the .75"), and the wood furniture has a grain finish far more consistent with AKMs than Type 56s (which usually have a solid color finish of some type). -MT2008 01:17, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

M114 armament

The M114 APC being driven around by police/paramilitary troops during Part II of this film is armed with a cannon that deserves mention, possibly a mockup. The dismounts atop the personnel carrier are also shown with firearms, none of which are discussed in this article. I only got a brief glimpse but they look like a CAR-15 variant and a scoped sniper rifle (Steyr SSG?).

This should probably go on the Back to the Future Part II talk page. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:28, 8 March 2014 (EST)

Cannon in the town square

Can anyone identify the two vintage cannon by the war memorial in the courthouse square (1, 2—the best shots I could find; more for reference than for actual identification)? The flash hiders remind me of 40mm Bofors.—DocWatson (talk) 00:43, 29 May 2014 (EDT)
