The Intrac engraving appear to make these Maadi rifles. --Ben41 (talk) 01:33, 10 January 2014 (EST)
There are at least two types here, AKMs (as you said most likely Maadis from the markings) and Type 56s with the pig sticker bayonet blade removed but with the bracket remaining, but also fitted with an AKM slant muzzle brake. File:HeroesS3E11-AK-1.jpg, File:HeroesS3E11-AK-2.jpg and File:HeroesS3E11-AK-5.jpg definitely show Type 56s, whereas I think the rest are AKMs. --commando552 (talk) 04:40, 10 January 2014 (EST)
Thanks Commando.--Alienqueen11 (talk) 22:48, 10 January 2014 (EST)
Maybe an M14, but the magazine appears to be curved. Possibly a Ruger AC556? --Ben41 (talk) 04:06, 20 January 2014 (EST)
My guess is that any perceived curve is an optical illusion and that it is an M14 (is hard to tell though with the guys hand obscuring most of the mag. I don't think it can be a Mini 14 variant as you can just make out that the bayonet lug is mounted to the front sight block which is located immediately behind the flash hider. Bayonet lug variants of the M14 have the front sight mounted farther back down the barrel. --commando552 (talk) 12:44, 20 January 2014 (EST)
Thanks guys, I'll just label it as a M14 on the page. Unfortunately there are no other good shots of it in the episode so I couldn't say for sure.--Alienqueen11 (talk) 18:39, 20 January 2014 (EST)
Actually that second shot helps confirm it as an M14, as you can see the gas tube protrudes several inches out the front of the stock like on the M14, but not on the Mini 14. Furthermore, the Mini 14 generally has a concave butt pad, as opposed to in this shot where you can see that it is slightly convex like the M14 butt plate. --commando552 (talk) 19:26, 20 January 2014 (EST)
Thanks for the help again, Commando. I'll be sure to add and note it to the page, glad the screenshot was helpful.--Alienqueen11 (talk) 20:16, 20 January 2014 (EST)
