Gabriel Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) uses two Custom Revolvers as his sidearms in the film. They appear to be completely fictional but bear resemblance to a Webley-Fosbery .455 "automatic" revolver. If anyone who worked on the film has information on these props, please share it. Like many props, it is assumed they are plastic shells covering Taurus Model 85 revolvers.
Smith & Wesson Schofield Model 3
Velkan Valerious (Will Kemp) uses a nickel Smith & Wesson Schofield Model 3 loaded with silver bullets during the scene where he and his men try to capture the Wolfman.
Special
Springfield 1873 Trapdoor
Velkan's men firing at the Wolfman use Springfield 1873 Trapdoor rifles but since the rounds aren't silver, the guns have no effect.
Colt Gatling Gun
One of the men in the invention room under the church (which is curiously similar to Q's laboratory in the 007 films) is seen testing a Colt Gatling Gun with a fictional "O" drum magazine slightly resembling the real 500rd drum magazine of the Gatling, which is especially remembered for its jamming attitude. Firing a gun inside is not smart, especially in a room with all the other workers.
Colt variant of Browning M1917
A Colt version of the Browning M1917 water-cooled machine gun is seen in the church, hence the spade grips. This gun is anachronistic for 1888 by a lot.
Remington 870 (mocked up)
Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) uses a Remington 870 sawed-off and made to look like more of a wheel-lock pistol based on the shape of the stock. The gun is dressed up to look more "gothic" for the film by adding little insignias on it as well. Pump action shotguns had not been invented yet in 1888 except for the older Spencer 1882 shotgun but it can be assumed the gun is meant to be a complete invention of the church.
Gas Operated Automatic Crossbow
Carl (David Wenham) gives Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) a custom built Crossbow which automatically fires bolts from a rotating drum. The bow is said to be gas operated, but since it isn't a gun, the tank fitted in the stock is assumed to be the "gas", like a CO2 tank. Van Helsing is seen using the Crossbow to take on Dracula's (Richard Roxburgh) brides Aleera (Elena Anaya), Marishka (Josie Maran), and Verona (Silvia Colloca) when they try to attack Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale) during the day, using the clouds for cover. After dunking the bow in holy water at the church, he uses the bow to successfully take out Marishka.
Flintlock Pistol
When Anna searches the weapon room for an intruder, she picks up a Flintlock Pistol to defend herself. When she is surprised by the Wolfman, she fires a shot in his face and runs.
Boot Flintlock Pistol
Anna is seen picking up an Over and Under Flintlock Boot pistol when she loads up.
Blunderbuss Flintlock Pistol
A Blunderbuss Flintlock Pistol designed to fire scatter shot out of the cone shaped barrel is seen on a table when Anna loads up.
Matchlock Muskets
Several Matchlock muskets are seen in the weapons room.
Flintlock Musket
Several Flintlock musketss are seen in the glass case under the Matchlock rifles.
Percussion Pistol
Anna puts a Percussion Pistol into a long scabbard-like holster when she loads up.
