I checked on imdb and there's a 1986 movie called Crossroads with Ralph Macchio that has a character named Willie Brown (played by Joe Seneca). That's really all the evidence I had to go on (as I didn't make this article - I've never even heard of it), but I'd guess thats which film this is referring to. - Speakeasy804
