Pistol on cover

What is the pistol Arnie is holding on the cover? I'd say it is a Colt Double Eagle long-slide that has the image reversed. I'm not sure though. - Gunmaster45

Could it be an AMT Hardballer Longslide? -- ZG

Looks like an airgun to me. Looks Plastic-y.--ConditionNone 02:42, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

AMC AutoMag? the MKII and onward models. - May 5 2010

Looks to me like the back of the Desert Eagle combined with the barrel and front end of a 1911.--IvanSidorenko (talk) 04:12, 5 July 2013 (EDT)

Dan Wesson Target Revolver

Maybe it's a Supermag model? http://www.danwessonforum.com/dwf-content/articles/1984_jan_ad.JPG --RedCharger 08:31, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

where do you find snubby miniguns? is it a real weapon in use by some agency (better not to know which one) or a hollywood-made prop?

Revamp completed

I've revamped this page and didn't realize so many guns were missing! Let me know if there's other ones that I've missed or if you can identify the guns that Slater pulls out at the beginning. --Ben41 08:48, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

This was one of the first movies I ever screencapped and a mix between the terrible quality of my dvd and my lack of familiarity with my screencapping software led to a crap job. Great work revamping it though. - Gunmaster45

Super short barreled minigun

Hi, i'm just wondering that if the minigun is that short woulnd't it decrease its cooling efficiency and make it kinda dangerous to operate after a long shooting time (like an m4 would be "dangerous" after firing a whole mag on full auto because a round go off because of the heat)?--PatrickTrudeau 20:36, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Mark VII in .50AE

I have often heard of a Desert Eagle Mark VII in .50AE, but I've never seen a picture of it. I tried to find an image enough. The one I have ever seen is the one Arnie used in this film. So, is Last Action Hero the first film to show a blank firing .50 AE? --Charly Driver 23:42, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

When the picture was released, I remember an article in which Arnold mentioned that the gun he used in the movie was a .44 magnum ("the same caliber as Dirty Harry, but in a different model of gun"). Thus, the desert eagle might not be in .50 AE caliberRafa 13:53, 17 February 2012 (CST)

I'm not really sure that a VII in .50AE ever actually exists. I will try to check the bluray, there is a scene where the marks can be seen very closely. --Charly Driver

These are the two best zoom that you can get to both sides. The gun seems to be a common .357 Magnum, but you can not read well. The right side instead is more clear, even reads the serial number 26215. The flat space in front of the safety seems to be the typical MK VI / VII in .357.

Ruger Mini-14

That pic of the Ruger Mini 14 is wrong. That is a post 2005 Mini 14 when Ruger did all those design changes. It is not possible for that type of Ruger Mini 14 to be in a film released in 1993. MoviePropMaster2008 23:48, 16 March 2011 (CDT)
