The Son of Kong (1933) A lighthearted sequel to the same year's King Kong (1933) Robert Armstrong ) and friends return to Skull Island in search of lost treasure and encounter a white-furred "little Kong," who proves to be friendly and helpful to them.
Note: The Venture's crew mutinies upon arriving at Skull Island. In overpowering Denham and those loyal to him, they employ a variety of revolvers and rifles.

He and Captain Englehorn use them throughout their time on the island and Hilda Petersen also holds Denham's on occasion. Both shotguns come to bad ends.
