Developed by Telltale Games and based on the comic by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead is an episodic game where players take the role of former Georgia university teacher Lee Everett and must balance their decisions in an attempt to keep their group of survivors together and alive. It should be noted that the video game follows the continuity of the comics rather than the TV series.
Pistols
Glock 17
The most ubiquitous pistol in the game, almost every major character uses a Glock 17 at some point, having likely scavenged them from around the Macon area. First or second generation models are used due to the grip lacking finger rests. Its first appearance is in the hands of Carley, who is exceptionally well-schooled in its use for a reporter, outside the pharmacy when she "introduces" herself by saving Lee and his companions from walkers upon their arrival in Macon.
Beretta 92FS Inox
A Beretta 92FS Inox is used by one of the Save-Lot bandits when they attack the Travelier Inn in Episode 3, but he is disarmed of it and Carley quickly commandeers it and turns it against them. Due to events of the game, this particular pistol winds up in Christa's possession when she and Omid join the group in Episode 4. Another Beretta Inox is taken from a house in Episode 5 and used by Kenny for the remainder of the game.
Single Action Army
Single Action Army revolvers are used by the St. Johns in Episode 2. Charles also uses one t some point in Episode 4 as does Vernon, leader of the cancer survivors group in Savannah. If the player opts to take Clementine along during the Crawford raid, she will briefly use one much to Molly's relief.
Rifles
Browning Automatic Rifle Safari
BAR Safaris, modeled inaccurately with exterior bolt handles, are used by the Macon survivors throughout the game, first appearing in Episode 2 when Lee and Mark are out hunting. Curiously, the rifles function normally as gas-operated semi-automatics during "cutscenes", but are apparently bolt-operated when player-controlled based on a bolt handle sound effect and lengthy delay between follow-up shots.
Winchester Model 70
Danny St. John owns a Winchester Model 70 rifle which he has affectionately named "Charlotte" and apparently values it highly.
Shotguns
Unnamed Cop Shotgun
An unknown shotgun with a heat shield is the very first weapon to appear in the game, making its initial appearance in the unnamed Atlanta police officer's squad car as he is driving Lee out of the city. Another, without the heat shield, is seen used by one of the Save-Lot bandits to gun down one of his companions in the woods after an argument. Initially thought to be an FN SLP, but the SLP is semi-auto while the one in-game is clearly pump-action
Remington 870
A Remington 870 shotgun is used by Hershel Greene in Episode 1 when walkers attack the farm and another is grabbed by Lee during the escape from Crawford in Episode 4.
Other Weapons
Horton Scout HD 125 Crossbow
At least two crossbows are seen during encounters with the Save-Lot bandits in Episodes 2 and 3, although they are implied to have several more but these are not shown. The first is in Episode 2, used by Jolene in the woods near the St. John Dairy to hold up Lee and Danny St. John and is taken by Danny following that confrontation. The second appears wielded by a Save-Lot bandit named Linda during their assault on the Travelier Inn in Episode 3. Both appear to be of the same make/model as Daryl's crossbow through most of the TV series, a Horton Scout HD 125.
