Army of Two: The 40th Day
The following weapons appear in the video game Army of Two: The 40th Day:
Handguns
Type 77
The Type 77 is the starting handgun in game. It is chrome plated. Used by JD and as a sidearm by the Fortieth Day Initiative mercenary army. This is by far the weakest weapon of the game and the overall improved stats of the Desert Eagle make it an insignificant weapon.
Converted Glock 17
The G18C is in fact a converted Glock 17, as it lacks the slide-mounted selector switch. It can be customized with a 33 round magazine. Alice is given one of these when you save her at the Embassy with a standard 20 round magazine. Salem later uses these akimbo in the final cutscene of the game.
Desert Eagle Mark XIX
The Desert Eagle Mark XIX is labeled as a ".44" in the game, even though it has no fluted barrel. It starts with a eight round magazine, but can be upgraded to 12 rounds. Capable of blowing an enemy's head off in one shot. It is the sidearm of Breznev. Compared to the Type 77 this is the best and only handgun aside from the Glock that players should choose.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The MP5A3 is listed as simply the MP5.
TDI Vector
The TDI Vector in the game is referred as the "TD-V 0.45 SMG" and it costs $35,000.
QCW-05
The QCQ-05 appears in the game as the "Type 05 SMG". One of the starting weapons available without purchase. Of all the primary weapons this has the least amount of customization options available.
FN P90
After saving civilians in Chapter 3, the FN P90 is unlocked.
Assault Rifles
Heckler & Koch G36C
Rios and Salem start with Heckler & Koch G36Cs. It is also used by FDI mercenaries early in the game and can be picked up from them. JD also carries one. Can be modded into an MG36.
FAMAS F1
The FAMAS F1 is referred to as the "FELIN-2C". Although shown carrying an AK in cutscenes, Brezhnev uses this as his standard weapon.
QBZ-03
The QBZ-03 can be bought.
M4A1
The M4A1 is simply labelled "M4" in game. Used by FDI mercenaries towards the middle of the game.
Heckler & Koch HK416
The Heckler & Koch HK416 can only be obtained after the second morality decision if you choose the negative route. Referred to as "M416."
FN SCAR-L
The FN SCAR-L comes in the game with the desert tan paint and costs $21,000. Used in the later stages of the game by FDI mercenaries.
AK-47
The AK-47 is one of the weapons available from the start. Breznev is shown using this weapon in cutscenes. It seems to have a AKS-74U muzzle device attached to it as standard.
Sniper Rifles
SVD
The starting default sniper rifle is the SVD.
VSS Vintorez
The VSS Vintorez is available for purchase as "VSS." It is the only sniper rifle that players are able to pick up off the ground and use as a fourth weapon.
Barrett M107 CQ
The Barrett M107 CQ is listed simply as M107. Its availability depends on the choices you make during the game.
Knight's Armament M110
The Knight's Armament M110 is available for purchase as the M110 KAC.
Shotguns
Shotguns are powerful weapons in AO2:40D, having amazing stopping power and the ability to blow up heads. This advantage is sacrificed by three factors: Pellet spray, reload speed, and Aggro.
Molot Bekas-12M
A Molot Bekas-12M pump-action shotgun dubbed the "FSB Shotgun" appears in the game.
Remington 870
The Remington 870 is available for purchase. Used by FDI heavy troopers. Equipped with a folding stock and synthetic furniture.
Remington 870 MCS
The MCS version of the Remington 870 in breaching configuration is available as a front mount attachment. In game it is known as the "870 MCS Master Key." Unlike the first game, this one is shown correctly as having a 4 shell capacity with pump action reloading. A great add-on to your weapon.
Hawk Semi-auto Shotgun
The Hawk Semi-Auto shotgun is available as "HM Shotgun" only by choosing the negative decision on the second morality decision.
AA-12
The AA-12 is available for purchase. The 20-round drum is available for purchase later. As you would expect, firing off only a couple shells will lead to the Aggro meter skyrocketing to one side.
Machine Guns
M249 SAW
A hybrid M249 SAW is available as the only LMG for purchase. The stock gun comes with the fixed stock of a full-sized M249, but with the short barrel of a M249 Para, as well as the ammo bag of a M249 Para. The M249 E1 barrel, 120-round ammo box, and Para telescoping stock are available upgrades.
XM312
The XM312 turret weapon is encountered throughout the campaign.
General Dynamics GAU-19/A
The General Dynamics GAU-19/A is used by the FDI machine gun heavy. Once the heavy is defeated, the player can pick it up however, the few times in the game in which this happens there are almost no enemies to use it on.
Grenades/Grenade Launchers
Milkor MGL Mk 1L
The MGL Mk 1L is available to the players as the "MK Grenade Launcher." Used by grenadier FDI heavies.
M203 grenade launcher
The M203 grenade launcher is available as a front mount attachment as "M203 40mm GL."
RPG-7
The RPG-7 is available for purchase. Like in the first game, there's no way to customize it other than paint scheme. Used extensively by FDI mercenaries.
M67 Grenade
The grenades available in-game, can also be customized to be diamond encrusted (whether or not this is cosmetic or changes damage is unknown)
Fan Designs
AS-KR1
The American winners of the Army of Two design contest created the AS-KR1. They were members of a website called The Angry Joe Show and call themselves the Angry Joe Army. Design was drawn up by internet artist Marobot.
Chambered in 7.62 X 39mm with enhanced accuracy due to the built in ranged scope. The weapon comes with an underslung shotgun that can chamber regular shotgun shells, airburst shells, and less lethal tazer shells (supposedly to imitate the webshow host's chain lightning ability).

Sniper Launcher aka S8-Z "Grand Pinger"
The developers of Army of Two: The 40th Day held a gun design contest in which the winners will have their guns put into the game. One of the winners was the Grand Pinger, designed by members on an online image board called OPERATORchan. The rifle's name is derived from the M1 Garand and the distinctive sound that is made when a clip is ejected. The gun is a modified Mosin-Nagant with a shotgun stock, backwards mounted SVD magazine, EoTech along with a backwards mounted ACOG. It also features a backwards vertical grip, a paintball gun hopper, a backwards laser sight, a backwards flashlight, and a small suppressor. The final product, while retaining many features of the original, has been modified. It was entered as a joke, with a description describing it as "designed by Mack of FutureWeapons".
