Zero Dark Thirty is an upcoming thriller film about the decade-long American mission to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow (Point Break, The Hurt Locker), the film was originally scheduled to be released in October 2012, but due to a controversy arising from the date's proximity to the American presidential elections, the U.S. release date was pushed back to December 19, 2012.

The following weapons were used in the film Zero Dark Thirty:

Handguns

Fake Bollywood AK-47

Gunmen clad in burqas wield "AK-47" rifles during one scene set in Pakistan. In reality, the rifles are actually blank-firing replicas used because of strict firearms regulations that make it difficult to bring genuine firearms to India (where many of the Pakistan-based scenes were shot).
