Unforgiven (1992)

Starr Model 1858

William Munny (Clint Eastwood) takes out a Starr 1858 Army percussion revolver from its case where it had been stored away for many years. He tries to shoot a can on a wooden post for target practice, only to find that his aim was lost with his age. Later in the film, Sheriff Bill Dagget (Gene Hackman) orders Will to surrender his firearms while staying in the town of Big Whiskey. Will tells him he doesn't have one and when Bill finds the Starr under his coat, he beats hims within an inch of his life.
