Assault Rifles
M16A2
An IDF soldier in the trailer can be seen firing on zombies with an M16A2 rifle. National Guardsmen in New York can also be seen with one as panicked civilians flee through a police barricade.
M4A1 carbine
US troops can be seen with M4A1 carbines in the trailer.
Machine Guns
Minimi
FN Minimi light machine guns can be seen used by troops in the trailer. A standard-length model is used by a US Special Operations soldier from a helicopter, while a Para model can be seen used by an IDF soldier. Both are fitted with 200-round cloth ammo bags.
M240D
The M240D briefly appears in the trailer for World War Z door mounted on a helicopter. The M240D is commonly mounted on the Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk, which is a helicopter commonly found on amphibious transport docks like the one seen sailing earlier in the trailer.
M2HB
Browning M2HB heavy machine guns can be seen on Humvees in the trailer.
Heavy Weapons
Mk 19 grenade launcher
A Mk 19 grenade launcher can be seen on a Humvee as an RV runs a police road block.
GAU-8/A Avenger
American A-10 Thunderbolt II ground attack aircraft can be seen in the trailer. These carry internally-mounted General Electric GAU-8/A Avenger rotary cannons under the nose.
