Looper is an action/science-fiction film directed by Rian Johnson (The Brothers Bloom). Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Joe, a 'Looper' or hitman in the year 2042 who specializes in killing people sent via time machine from 2072. Joe's world begins to fall apart when he recognizes one of his victims as his older self (Bruce Willis) and allows him to escape.
The following weapons were used in the film Looper:
Pistols
Magnum Research BFR "Gat"
Abe's (Jeff Daniels) "Gat men" all carry Magnum Research BFRs. We see both Joe and Old Joe firing BFRs. Jesse (Garret Dillahunt) also is armed with a BFR when he comes to Sara's farm, and Abe (Jeff Daniels) uses a BFR in a shootout.
A nickel-plated and wooden gripped version of the BFR is carried by Kid Blue (Noah Segan). Prop Master James Kroning mentions in an IGN video that the rear sight was removed to provide better balance when spinning the pistol and to facilitate fanning of the revolver.
Mateba Model 6 Unica
Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) makes an escape from his loft while firing a Mateba Model 6 Unica with a short barrel.He is also seen using the Model 6 while working as a hitman in Shanghai.
Heckler & Koch Mark 23
Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) has a Heckler & Koch Mark 23 pistol which is taken by Old Joe (Bruce Willis).
Beretta U22 Neos
One of the men Rainmaker sends to grab Old Joe is armed with a Beretta U22 Neos.
Shotguns
"Blunderbuss" Shotgun
A shotgun, known as the "Blunderbuss", with a futuristic barrel sheath is used by Joe and the rest of the Loopers to kill their victims. It bears a close resemblance to the 18th Century firearms it takes its name from. The weapon is mentioned by Kid Blue to be short-ranged, capable only of hitting targets 15 paces away, but unlike a Blunderbuss it is capable of firing multiple rounds.
Remington 870 Field Gun
Sara (Emily Blunt) uses a Remington 870 Field Gun to protect her farm from intruders.
Unknown Pump Shotgun
A man on the street draws and fires a pump shotgun on a thief.

Old Joe (Bruce Willis) uses a pair of FN P90 TRs during a shootout with the Gat Men.
