How do you figure the Glocks are Glock 18s? --Funkychinaman

(talk) 09:40, 2 October 2012 (EDT)The shape of the barrel and also magazine at end of handle. But it can also go on some type of Glock 17, is true ...--Pandolfini (talk) 11:57, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

The only difference I'm aware of is the selector switch on the left side of the slide. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:32, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

I'm fairly certain the selector switch is the only difference between the Glock 17 and the Glock 18. I also can't see any police force, not even one in a film, giving their officers Glock 18 handguns as sidearms. Bristow8411 (talk) 12:55, 2 October 2012 (EDT)

It has happened before.--Funkychinaman (talk) 13:35, 2 October 2012 (EDT)This switch is not here to see, unfortunately, but is see how the magazine extends from the handle at the end of the Glock 17, while the Glock 18 is aligned.--Pandolfini (talk) 16:10, 2 October 2012 (EDT)
