Trevor Hanaway (Josh Holloway) and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) are both seen with the Glock 17. In a continuity error Brandt (Jeremy Renner) is seen carrying one in a scene in the Burj Hotel, when before and after this scene he carries the SIG-Sauer P226 E2.
Glock Pistol (Modified)
Ethan shoots Bogdan (Miraj Grbic) with a Glock pistol modified to fire tranquilizer darts before transferring him to an IMF extraction team. A similar prop was featured in Mission: Impossible III.
Russian Federal Protective Service guards at the Kremlin are armed with Makarov PM pistols. Assassin Sabine Moreau (Léa Seydoux) uses a suppressed Makarov in Budapest, as does Agent Jane Carter. Moreau also attempts to shoot Carter with a Makarov in Dubai before being disarmed. Benji Dunn briefly uses the Makarov when he watches Moreau.

Custom AKM
Customized AKMs are used by Russian operatives in Moscow when they ambush the IMF secretary, Ethan and Brandt. The rifles have KCI quad rail systems and modernized furniture.
Custom AKMSU
Several Russian operatives fire AKMSU carbines with KCI quad rail systems during the ambush.
