When he is asked by Lt. Col. Rhodes (Don Cheadle) to weaponize the Mark II Iron Man suit, Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) presents several weapons to pick from. One of the main weapons Hammer displays is the M134 Minigun. Hammer says that the boys in uniform refer to it as "Uncle Gazpacho" or "Puff the Magic Dragon" when showing it to Rhodes. Even though he correctly identifies it as a 7.62mm, "Puff the Magic Dragon" was actually the nickname given to the AC-47 gunships that carried miniguns during the Vietnam War. He is also seen picking it up with ease even though the gun weighs more than 100 lbs with all the parts, but the barrel unit is light enough to pick up.
General Dynamics GAU-17/A
The "War Machine" has a machine gun resembling a GAU-17/A mounted on its right shoulder, although it appears much smaller than its real life counterpart.
Claridge Hi-Tec
Hammer also shows off the Claridge Hi-Tec semi-automatic pistol.
FN F2000 Tactical
The FN F2000 Tactical assault rifle is also mounted on War Machine. Referred to as the "FN 2000" by Hammer (Sam Rockwell) when seen showing it off to Rhodes.
M26 MASS (Modular Accessory Shotgun System)
The M26 Modular Accessory Shotgun System in standalone configuration is also one of the weapons on War Machine, referred to (incorrectly) as an "M24 Shotgun" by Hammer (Sam Rockwell). He also incorrectly calls it a pump-action; it is actually a straight pull bolt-action.
Milkor MGL Mk 1L
The Milkor MGL Mk 1L is also one of the weapons Hammer presents to Rhodes. While it is not readily evident where it is mounted on War Machine, it is seen mounted on the right arm of Hammer's Army drone.
Kimel AP-9
A Kimel AP-9 is also seen among the weapons Hammer displays for Rhodes.
S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) takes a H&K USP Compact off a Hammer guard which she wields along with a Walther PPK/S during the raid on Hammer Industries.
Carried by US Air Force Security Forces airmen with flashlights, foregrips, and Aimpoint sights, most notably when Lieutenant Colonel Rhodes arrives at the base half-way through the film.
Walther PPK/S
S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) carries a Walther PPK/S .380acp pistol in a Blackhawk Serpa Holster.
Hammer Drone Weaponry
Hammer presents his drone samples to the world at the Stark Expo. Four types of drones are displayed, one for each branch of the US Military with its own distinctive weaponry.
Army Drone (M242 Bushmaster chaingun and Milkor MGL)
In addition to the Milkor MGL mounted on to the right arm, the Army version of the Hammer drone is seen armed with a large single barrel cannon, which according to director Jon Favreau's audio commentary, is based off the 25mm M242 Bushmaster chaingun. However during the Extended Cut of the film, the close up of the Army version of Hammer drone labels the cannon as a "Shoulder Mounted .50 Caliber Machine gun" but does not list which model of machine gun. This could be an error or miscommunication between the Director and video editors, or perhaps the gun is a .50 Caliber machine gun modeled after M242 Bushmaster. (Which makes sense because the Real life M242 is considerably larger than what the film uses.) In the film the shoulder mounted cannon behaves more like the m242 bushmaster and even ejects large spent cartridges.
Navy Drone(FIM-92A Stinger)
In the extended cut of the film, a close up of the Navy drone reveals that the shoulder mounted missile launchers are FIM-92A Stingers. Each shoulder pod carries 6 missiles in addition to 3 missile mounted in a pod on each arm totalling 18 Stinger missiles. With an armament like that, the Navy Drone is a formidable air defence platform.
Air Force Drone
The Air Force Drone is armed with wrist mounted cannons and a shoulder mounted machine gun.
