Colt 1911

During the scene in which Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta) interrogate, and ultimately execute Brett, Jules is seen holding and firing a chrome Colt 1911 pistol while Vincent fires his Star Model BM.

Vincent Vega (John Travolta) carries a 9mm Star Model BM throughout the film. While visually the Star Model BM is almost identical to Jules' (Samuel L. Jackson) .45 Colt 1911 it is a much rarer pistol of Spanish manufacture. Despite this rarity the Star Model BM can generally be had for a third the price of a Colt 1911 of similar condition, and would have been much less expensive than Jules' (Samuel L. Jackson) chromed and pearl gripped Colt 1911. While Vincent's (John Travolta) Star Model BM has the imposing look of Jules' (Samuel L. Jackson) Colt 1911 its 9mm punch lacks the power of the famed .45 Colt 1911 - the correlation between the two character's pistols and the two characters themselves could not have been accidental on the filmmakers parts. While Vincent Vega (John Travolta) attempts to play the same powerful role as Jules (Samuel L. Jackson), his performance is a comedy of errors. He accidentally shoots and kills Marvin, he disrespects Winston Wolfe, Mrs. Wallace overdoses on heroin while under his care, and he is ultimately killed with his own boss's gun (a silenced Mac 10), by the man he was sent to kill, while coming out of the bathroom.

Mac 10

When Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) returns to his apartment to retrieve his father's watch he finds a silenced Mac 10 on his kitchen counter and uses it to kill Vincent (John Travolta) as he comes out of the bathroom.
