Escanaba in da Moonlight (2001)

Escanaba in da Moonlight is a 2001 low budget Indie starring Jeff Daniels. The film is a comedy regarding redneck hunters from Michigan and is a part of Daniel's ongoing commitment to entice film production to the state of Michigan. The comedy itself is hit or miss, with humor that is mostly enjoyed (and understood) by locals to the Michigan area. The film had very limited theatrical release and limited DVD release and is not very well known amongst the film going public.

Marlin 336C

The Marlin 336c in .30-30 Winchester is used by Rueben Soady (Jeff Daniels).

Winchester Model 70

A Winchester 70 in .30-06 Winchester is used by Remnar Soady (Joey Albright)

Colt King Cobra

Ranger Tom uses this revolver while scouting in the forest. He drops it when he sees a UFO or what he believes to be the light of god.

Remington 700

Albert Soady uses a Remington 700 in .22-250 as his hunting rifle.

Savage Model 29A

A young Rueben Soady uses this rifle while rabbit hunting. He attempts to use the the rifle to shoot a rabbit, but he apparently forgets to load it prior to the hunt.
