The Browning Automatic Rifle is the main weapon of the support class in-game. It can be fired standing and from the hip, which reduces accuracy, or in prone position with the bipod deployed, which increases it. Amusingly, in one of the maps, Ramelle-Neuville, (a reference to Saving Private Ryan), the B.A.R bipod has been removed and the gun converted to the ability to fire at either the default 450 rpm or 600 rpm, a homage to Reiben's (Edward Burns) B.A.R in the film, which was sans bipod and fired at maximum RPM.
The Browning M1919 can be picked up from US bases and depots. It can be deployed by throwing down the portable tripod, which sets up the gun in prone position.
