Transformers is the 2007 live-action film based on the popular Hasbro toy franchise directed by Michael Bay (Armageddon, Pearl Harbor). Starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel, the film centers around two factions from a race of alien mechanical lifeforms, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons, as both seek out a powerful object known as the "All Spark" hidden somewhere on Earth. The film would spawn two sequels, 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and 2011's Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
The following weapons were used in the film Transformers:
See the Discussion section for some non gun-related trivia on the film.
A Beretta 92FS can be seen in the hands of a police officer who arrests Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) when he reports his car stolen. Beretta 92FS pistols are also seen as the sidearms of most of Captain Lennox's (Josh Duhamel) men, likely standing in for the US Army standard issue Beretta M9.
Captain Lennox (Josh Duhamel) can be seen carrying a customized Para 1911 G.I. Expert pistol as his sidearm in a Serpa-retention holster, using it to threaten Agent Simmons (John Turturro) and other Sector 7 agents during the standoff.
SIG-Sauer P226
Secret Service agents onboard Air Force One can be seen using SIG-Sauer P226 pistols as their sidearms (a factual error: The United States Secret Service never used the P226, only the P228 and P229 in 9mm and recently switched to the .357 Sig because it has more stopping power). The Sheriff at the police station (Rick Gomez) also brandishes a P226 while threatening Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) during his interrogation.
SIG-Sauer P228
One of Captain Lennox's men draws what appears to be a SIG-Sauer P228 during the standoff in the Sector 7 headquarters, likely standing in for the US Military issue M11.
Unknown Pistol
A village militia member in Qatar is seen briefly firing a pistol of unknown make and model, and is at an unfocused distance from the camera, making identification very difficult. The only way to confirm the make of this pistol would be if an armorer of the film would share their insight with IMFDB.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5KA4
Heckler & Koch MP5KA4s are seen being used by Secret Service agents onboard Air Force One, as well as a few Sector 7 agents (notably Brian Stepanek) when meeting the Autobots, who are quickly disarmed of their weapons by Jazz (voice of Darius McCrary).
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
FBI agents are seen armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns during the raid on Glen's (Anthony Anderson) home, fitted with Surefire 628 dedicated forend weaponlights and Navy trigger groups. Sector 7 agents can also be seen brandishing these in their first meeting with the Autobots, but are promptly disarmed by Jazz's powerful magnet. During the standoff between Captain Lennox's team and Sector Seven at the Hoover Dam, one of Duhamel's men (Brian Shehan) can be seen smacking a Sector 7 soldier in the face with the butt of an MP5A3 fitted with RIS rails, dual mag clamp, and an M68 Aimpoint red dot scope.
Heckler & Koch UMP-45
Sector 7 soldiers can be seen using Heckler & Koch UMP-45's in several scenes during the film, fitted with varying accessories including C-More red-dot sights.
Rifles
AKM
One of the village militia members in Qatar was seen armed with an AKM at the beginning of the battle with Scorponok.
Colt Model 933
Captain Lennox (Josh Duhamel) can be seen carrying a Colt Model 933 carbine as his weapon of choice in Qatar, distinguishable from the M4A1's carried by his men by the shorter 11.5" barrel. His weapon is fitted with an M68 Aimpoint red dot and AN/PVS-14 night vision scope, a Surefire M900 weaponlight foregrip, Vltor MOD stock, Yankee Hill Manufacturing Phantom Flash Supressor, and an AN/PEQ-2 IR designator (which inaccurately emits the same visible green laser as those on his men's M4A1's).
Special
M4A1 Carbine
There are several appearances throughout the early stages of the film of M4A1 Carbines, used by U.S. military personnel at the U.S. Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) base during Blackout's attack, as well as by Captain William Lennox (Josh Duhamel)'s Delta team. The M4A1s used by the special forces team are fitted with various SOPMOD accessories including ACOG scopes, AN/PEQ-2 IR designators (which are erroneously shown emitting a laser beam that can be seen by the naked eye instead of the real AN/PEQ-2's invisible Infra-Red laser), RIS foregrips, and camouflage paint schemes.
Special
M16A2
There are two brief appearances of M16A2 rifles in the film, first in the hands of soldiers responding to Blackout's arrival at the SOCCENT base when he begins his attack, and later in the hands of soldiers guarding Air Force One as Frenzy sneaks off the plane.
Heckler & Koch G36C
When the FBI storms Glen's (Anthony Anderson) home, several agents can be seen armed with Heckler & Koch G36C's fitted with Surefire Universal weaponlights. Sector 7 soldiers can also be seen carrying G36C's, as well as one of Captain Lennox's (Josh Duhamel) men during the standoff at Sector 7 HQ.
Heckler & Koch G36K
One of the Sector 7 soldiers during the final battle in Mission City is seen using a Heckler & Koch G36K.
SIG SG-552
During the standoff between Sector Seven and Captain Lennox's (Josh Duhamel) team, one of the Sector 7 soldiers can be seen aiming a SIG SG-552 at Captain Lennox.
A heavily-customized Mossberg 590 (similar to that seen in Rambo (2008)) is used by Agent Reggie Simmons (John Turturro) and Maggie Madsen (Rachael Taylor) to fend off Frenzy at the Sector 7 headquarters. It has a Magpul M93A rear stock attached to a Mesa Tactical M4 adapter block and a Mesa Tactical Top receiver Rail with an EOTech 552 holographic sight.
Special
Winchester Model 1912
A Winchester Model 1912 pump-action shotgun is used by Secretary of Defense John Keller (Jon Voight) at the Sector 7 headquarters to fight off Frenzy.

Heavy Weapons
FN M249 SAW Para
First Sergeant Donnelly (Zack Ward) and Ranger Team #3 (Brian Shehan) of Cpt. Lennox's (Josh Duhamel) Delta team carry FN M249 Paratrooper SAWs fitted with Leupold CQ/T scopes as their main weapons, primarily during the battle with Scorponok.
NSV heavy machine gun (mounting)
An NSV heavy machine gun mount is seen mounted on a T-72 tank as surviving American troops from the attack on the SOCCENT base discuss their next course of action. There is never a clear closeup of the turret, so it hard to say for certain, but it appears to be just the mounting assembly with the gun itself removed.
Browning M2HB
Several Browning M2HB heavy machine guns are seen mounted on the roofs of US military Humvees in Qatar when Blackout attacks the SOCCENT base. The Decepticon Brawl can also be seen with a pair of M2HBs atop the turret of his tank form.
When Sector 7 agents capture Bumblebee (voice of Mark Ryan), they use grapple guns mounted on the door of their helicopters. The main build up of the guns is a Browning M2HB machine gun, heavily mocked up with hollywood embellishments.
Special
FN M240G Machine Gun
During the attack on the SOCCENT base in Qatar, FN M240G machine guns can be seen mounted on several Humvees as well as UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters shown searching for survivors following the attack.
M60 Machine Gun
During the final battle, several UH-60 Blackhawks sent to airlift Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and the All Spark out of Mission City can be seen armed with door-mounted M60 machine guns.
GE M134 Minigun
The Decepticon Blackout has an arm-mounted GE M134 Minigun, which he uses to lay suppressing fire on the jeeps at the Qatar base. His vehicle form doesn't seem to have an equivalent weapon; Brawl has a similarly mysterious minigun on his arm in robot mode, though it's possible this was his tank mode coaxial weapon.

The feral transformer created from Glen's (Anthony Anderson) cellphone is also armed with a miniature GE M134 Minigun, mounted underneath its body.
M61A2 Vulcan Cannon
The Decepticon Starscream (voiced by Charles Adler), being a Lockheed Martin/Boeing F-22A Raptor in vehicle form, has a 20mm M61A2 Vulcan Cannon, which while never used in vehicle form, is used by him to fire from his arm during the final battle in Mission City both to engage real USAF F-22's and the Autobots.
GAU-8/A Avenger
The General Electric GAU-8/A Avenger cannon is seen as the main weapon on the A-10 Warthog ground attack plane that provides air support for the team against Skorponok.
Bofors 40mm L/60
After the Warthogs fail to take down Skorponok, a CGI AC-130U "Spooky" gunship flies over and bombards him with both a Bofors 40mm L/60 and an M102 howitzer.
M102 105mm Howitzer
After the Warthogs fail to take down Skorponok, a CGI AC-130U "Spooky" gunship flies over and bombards him with both a Bofors 40mm L/60 and an M102 howitzer.
Launchers
M203 Grenade Launcher
In addition to the accessories mentioned above, several M4A1's used by Cpt. Lennox's (Josh Duhamel) Delta team are equipped with M203 grenade launchers, most notably Air Force Technical Sergeant Bobby Epps (Tyrese Gibson).
We also see Sector 7 soldiers wielding stand-alone M203 grenade launchers while in the Hoover Dam and during the final battle with the Decepticons in the streets of Mission City.
Milkor M32 MGL launchers are used by Sector 7 soldiers and Captain Lennox (Josh Duhamel) and his team to battle the Decepticons during the fighting in Mission City, and are fitted with the factory Armson OEG reflex sights. Captain Lennox's M32 is also shown mounting a laser target designator on the side of the barrel. All of the launchers are also fitted with Vltor Modstocks.
Defense Technologies 37mm Launcher
In addition to the Milkor M32's, Sector 7 soldiers and some of Captain Lennox's (Josh Duhamel) men can also be seen using Defense Technologies 37mm grenade launchers during the final battle, equipped with folding stocks and C-More red-dot sights.
Another weapon used by Sector 7 soldiers and Captain Lennox's (Josh Duhamel) team during the final battle are several heavily-modified Ramo RT-37 riot control launchers fitted with unknown red dot sights (appears to be a Bushnell Holosight), barrel shrouds and M4 type stocks. Captain Lennox most notably uses one when he charges Blackout on a comandeered motorcycle, skidding underneath the Decepticon to get a clear shot at the robot's weakly-armored lower body. Like the other grenade launchers in this movie, it produces a large muzzle flash which is not remotely possible in real life.
Special
RPG-7
While at Sector 7 HQ, the power of the All Spark is demonstrated when Glen Whitmann (Anthony Anderson)'s cellphone is used to create a new transformer, the feral robot producing several weapons including a miniature shoulder-mounted RPG-7 launcher.
