Striptease
Striptease is a 1995 comedy film, based on the caper novel by Carl Hiaasen, written and directed by Andrew Bergman, starring Demi Moore as a single mother working as an exotic dancer to pay for an expensive custody battle with her ex-husband (Robert Patrick), who attracts the attention of a lecherous United States Congressman (Burt Reynolds).
The following weapons were used in the film Striptease :
Smith & Wesson Model 10 snub nose revolver
During the opening fracas in the Eager Beaver, Dilbeck's aide, Erb Crandall (Robert Stanton) flashes what looks like an early-model Smith & Wesson Model 10 snub nose revolver.
Beretta Model 1935
Erin Grant (Demi Moore) pulls a Beretta Model 1935 automatic on Congressman Dilbeck (Burt Reynolds) and her ex-husband Darrell (Robert Patrick).
Beretta 92F
Miami Detective Al Garcia (Armand Assante) carries a Beretta 92F pistol.
Smith & Wesson 4006
Darrell Grant (Robert Patrick) steals a Smith & Wesson 4006 from his sister's trailer. Later, when he attempts to fire it at Malcolm Moldowsky (Paul Guilfoyle), nothing happens, and he tosses it away in disgust.
Exactly why nothing happens is not made clear, but it is likely that, being both unfamiliar with firearms and stoned to the gills, Darrell has missed any number of important steps, including chambering a round, cocking the hammer, disengaging the safety, or even checking first that the clip is loaded (in the book, it is because the gun's owner has attached a trigger lock, which Darrell has failed to notice until that moment).
