SW1911 E Series - Promotional Material

I was in the city the other day and noticed that on all the posters they in Australia (especially prevalent on the side of the buses) feature the female lead holding a Smith and Wesson SW-1911 E Series, I'm assuming this due to the fish-scale pattern and what looks to be the S&W Logo on the side. (I'd upload said poster, but upload doesn't seem to want to work for me.)--Mattatack92 07:39, 24 October 2011 (CDT)

1911

The 1911 used in this film is a Smith & Wesson E Series from their Performance Cente[[ Below is a link to a picture of such 1911. http://media.photobucket.com/image/sw%201911%20e%20series/dakota1911/sw945r_r.jpg

This is another poster of In Time and the 1911 is clearly shown over here. Any experts who can confirm it please add this into the weapons page too. Thanks.

No, that is definitely a Smith & Wesson 945. --SmithandWesson36 13:35, 4 November 2011 (CDT)

It's definately a Smith & Wesson 945. Look at the serrations and the placeholder (black spot on the rear of the slide) where a safety could have been applied. These are not normal on the S&W1911 range. Also the Smith & Wesson logo can clearly be seen and thus elimantes any other make like Para Ordnance like previously stated. Such a shame I couldn't get screen shots in the cinema but will get some as soon as the DVD comes out. Throughout the movie Sylvia uses the gun and the 945 can clearly be seen. I think it was a good choice for the character. --Potentpoefie 08:47:32, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
