The Manchurian Candidate (2004)
The Manchurian Candidate is the 2004 remake of John Frankenheimer's classic political thriller of the same name. As in the original, the plot centers around a decorated Army soldier who is part of a powerful political family and the possibility that he may have been brainwashed after being captured during a battle (the war is now the 1991 Gulf War instead of the Korean War). The film was directed by Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs).

Marco is seen taking out an enemy combatant who was about to fire an M72 LAW.
AKM
What appear to be AKM rifles are seen used by enemy combatants that engage Marco and the lost platoon.
Heckler & Koch MP5
The Heckler & Koch MP5 is seen in the hands of the men riding in the helicopter that tosses gas grenades onto Marco's position during the ambush.
Walther PPK
Rosie (Kimberly Elise) is seen pulling a Walther PPK on Marco when he tries to strangle her.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
A Smith & Wesson Model 10 is being handled by Marco while undergoing a medical procedure.
Remington 700PSS
Near the end of the film, Marco is seen assembling a Remington 700PSS rifle fitted with a scope and suppressor.
Glock 26
Marco is also seen pulling out a Glock 26 near the end of the film.
Beretta 92FS
During a medical procedure, Marco watches Raymond Shaw and some other men handling Beretta 92FS pistols. Rosie is also seen pulling what appears to be a Beretta near the end of the film.
