Re: Cutie Honey is a three part anime OVA series remake of the 1973 television series Cutey Honey . A co-production between Studio Gainax (Neon Genesis Evangelion ) and Toei Animation (Arcadia of My Youth ), the series was intended as a direct retelling of the (significantly less well received) live-action film.

Inspector Aki Natsuko's preferred weapon is a Walther PPK pistol. She is an expert marksman with it, often making (intentionally) comedic impossible shots.
