Che Part Two: Guerrilla
Che Part Two: Guerilla, is the first half of Che, a 2008 film starring Benicio del Toro in the title role and was directed by Steven Soderbergh. The film was first screened at the Cannes Film Festival in May, 2008, earning Del Toro the Festival's best actor award. It was later divided into two parts, Part 1, called The Argentine being released in the United States on December 12, 2008 to qualify it for the Academy Awards. Both parts were put into wider release in January 2009. The second part, Guerilla, follows Che Guevara as he travels to Bolivia in 1966 in a failed attempt to overthrow the government, eventually leading to his capture and execution in 1967.

One of the guerillas carries a Karabiner 98k rifle.
M1 Garand
The M1 Garand is the main weapon of both the guerilla fighters and the Bolivian Army.
M1 Carbine
A few of the guerillas, notably Tamara "Tania" Bunke (Franka Potente), and the Bolivian Army carry the M1 Carbine.
M2 Carbine
Che Guevara (Benicio del Toro) carries the M2 Carbine as his personal weapon. Other guerillas also use it in combat.
Submachine Guns
IMI Uzi
Joaquin (Jorge Perugorría), leader of one of the guerilla bands, carries an IMI Uzi.
Machine Guns
Browning M1919
The Bolivian Army use the Browning M1919, most notably during the ambush of one of the Che's columns at Vado del Yeso.
Sidearms
Browning Hi-Power
Che Guevara (Benicio del Toro) carries a holstered Browning Hi-Power as a personal sidearm. He uses it once when wounded before his capture by Bolivian Rangers.
