Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (also known as CoD:MW3 or MW3) is the upcoming eighth installment of the Call of Duty series, also continuing the previous installment, Modern Warfare 2. The game is been developed by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software, published by Activision for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS platforms and will be released on November 8, 2011.
The following weapons are seen in the upcoming video game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3:
As of now, the FN Five-seveN incorrectly holds 15 rounds instead of 20. Could be a replacement for the Beretta 92SB from the previous Modern Warfare games. It is held one handed in a manner similar to the "Glock 18" from Modern Warfare 2 and the ASP from Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The H&K USP45 returns and can be seen on a player's back in the multiplayer world premiere trailer. It is equipped with an under-barrel mounted flashlight.

The P99 pistol can be seen in the Call of Duty XP event.

Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
The H&K MP5A2 is a new weapon shown in the screenshots and could be a replacement for Modern Warfare 2'sMP5K. In the screenshot, the MP5A2 rail system seems to be modeled after the real life Knights Armament rail system for the MP5.

Heckler & Koch MP5SD
The Heckler & Koch MP5SD was spotted in the 'Reveal' trailer and used by SAS operatives, probably returns from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, though this could be the same MP5 variant as above, only with a suppressed configuration.
A MP5K makes an appearance in the newest Spec-Ops's Survival mode trailer. Note that the variant depicted in-game features a railed handguard and a MP5A2 buttstock.
An FN P90TR (Triple Rail) fitted with a reflex sight can be seen lying on the ground in the Reveal trailer. The P90 is also seen in the hands of Russian Submarine Crewmen in the gameplay Demo.
The M4A1 is a weapon also seen in both Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2, featuring flip-up iron sights, Sure Shot reflex sight, EOTech XPS Holographic sight, Magnifying scope, Magpul MOE Carbine Stock, 5.56x45mm NATO Magpul, RIS foregrip, 20-round STANAG magazine and a customized charging handle. However, some NPCs as can be seen in the 'Reveal' trailer, are carrying the M4A1 models of Modern Warfare 2. This could be for reasons of early developing stages. In recent gameplay footage, you can switch between the EOTech to the magnifying scope on the fly. A modelling mistake like in the previous installments, showing the M4A1's fire selector switch set on Semi, though it fires on Auto.

Colt M16A4
The M16A4 appears in the trailer for Spec-ops mode.
The civilian version of the Colt CM901 was first seen used by the player in the Spec-Ops's Survival mode trailer, later seen used in gameplay footage of Call of Duty: XP event. It is seen fitted with flip-up iron sights, EOTech XPS Holographic sight, Manyfing scope and Magpul 20LR PMAG.
A custom AK-47 can be seen in the hands of Russian solders in the 'Reveal' trailer. Later on It can also be seen in the hands of the player thelegendofkarl in the first Elite trailer and on the Spec-Ops's Survival trailer.
The fake AKS-74U from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare seems to have returned to its second sequel. The mix and mash of different Kalashnikovs appears in game still being incorrectly referred to as an "AK-74u", which doesn't exist, and will probably be incorrectly called a submachine gun. It is modeled on the JG "AK Beta-F" airsoft rifle, which is an AKS-47 with a very, very short front end, an AKS-74U gas block/front sight, flash hider, and rear sight, and black polymer furniture with an RIS rail on the handguard. The version in game appears to have bakelite magazines, which led to some to believe it actually was a 74, however the curve of the magazine give away that it is in fact based on a 47.
The Remington ACR has been spotted in the recent trailer for Call of Duty's 'Elite' service. In the Spec Ops Survival trailer, "ACR 6.8" is listed as a purchasable weapon, implying that the in-game version is chambered in 6.8mm SPC.

Note the projection in front of the magazine release catch and the lack of an ejection port, indicating that this image has either been flipped (unlikely as then the flag on the character's chest would be reversed) or the texture itself is incorrect.
Heckler & Koch G36C
A H&K G36C is seen shortly after the armory list is shown in the trailer for Spec-Ops's Survival mode.
A L118A1 (The British Army designation for the Accuracy International AW) can be seen in the Call of Duty XP Multiplayer event. It is incorrectly called a "L118A" ingame.
A customized AA-12 shotgun with rail mounts and a somewhat pointless spare shell holder has been seen in gameplay trailers and in the E3 gameplay footage.
The sawed-off Winchester Model 1887 from MW2 has been confirmed and it was seen in Survival gameplay. It has been heavily modified and now features ghost ring sights and synthetic furniture.
Despite being called "MK46" in-game, this weapon is actually an FN M249 Para with the RIS handguard of an Mk 46. The machine gun can be seen in the hands of an enemy player in the multiplayer world premiere trailer.
The DShK heavy machine gun was first seen in the 'Reveal' trailer, mounted on a Russian T-90 main battle tank during a huge battle in Germany. In the latest multiplayer trailer, a possible DShK is mounted on an M5-like sentry gun auto turret.

Note the end of the barrel.
GE M134 Minigun
The GE M134 Minigun is an emplaced weapon returns from previous Modern Warfare titles, and seen firstly in the 'Reveal' trailer, later on E3's gameplay demo. The M134 is incorrectly mounted on the right doorway of an UH-60 Black Hawk instead directly on its right window. This mistake also appears in Modern Warfare 2. The M134 can be also seen mounted as an M5 sentry gun auto-turret like in Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Mk 19 Grenade Launcher
The Mk 19 Grenade Launcher was spotted in the newest trailer of Spec-Ops's Survival mode, mounted on a tripod and also can be moved by the player.
The M18 smoke grenade was used several times by the player in the newest Spec-Ops's Survival mode trailer, for pointing the target of an AC-130 gunship.
