Glock 17

There needs to be some clarification about the Glock, because in some shots it has a picatinny railsystem and does either look like an airsoft version or a different polymer gun.

I was gonna say the same thing as Jazz belt here, but the gun Thats listed as an Xd dosent have a grip safety and the sights dont match, i think its an SA177 as well, the picatinny rail is also too long to be an Xd. --℗Λ✝r][©Κ 12:13, 15 June 2011 (CDT)

Ready mag

Is that the first time we've seen a ready mag system used in a TV show or a film? One of the M4s used by Veracruz's troops has one fitted. --cool-breeze 18:30, 19 April 2011 (CDT)

SIG P226

Are we 100% sure that the P226 is a P226 as later on in the episode the Admiral who is debriefing Sam mentions him holding a .45 on the pilot. Wouldn't that make it a P220? I realise that usually dialogue isn't a good way of identifying a weapon used but due to how difficult it is to identify the specific pistol used in the shot as it's is only a quick shot of the pistol it might be worth considering that it's a P220. --cool-breeze 18:30, 19 April 2011 (CDT)

It was blurry but I thought I could make out some double stack bulges on the pic.----JazzBlackBelt-- 17:33, 17 June 2011 (CDT)

You might be right. Problem is the picture is very blurry and Bruce Campbell does have rather big hands. I still can't tell with 100% certainty whether it's a P226 or not though. Rather annoying that he uses a P226/P220 on the helicopter and then it's not seen at all. --cool-breeze 19:28, 17 June 2011 (CDT)

I just watched this movie, and it's a P226. When Veracruz is holding it during the big shootout at the end, you see that it has the bulges on the frame. And I would imagine that the SIG used by both Veracruz and Sam is the exact same weapon being reused in different scenes (since they obviously use the same Glock in different scenes, too). The reference to the pistol being a ".45" is probably just an error. -MT2008 11:33, 24 June 2011 (CDT)

Spanish M43

That's NOT a Spanish M43 Mauser. Though the M43 is nearly identical to the VZ-24 it has the tell tale rear double buttstock hook (not like the double swivels of the VZ-24) and the M43 has the 'double bayonet lug' device, an extension of the bayonet lug to accomodate the Spanish bayonet. Edit (Upon closer examination, the rifle does not appear to be a VZ-24 either) I will scrutinize the pics and try to come up with a solution if no one else does ;) :) MoviePropMaster2008 03:05, 25 April 2011 (CDT)
