Sgt. Bilko is a 1996 military comedy starring Steve Martin as Master Sergeant Ernest G. Bilko, head of the Motor Pool at the Fort Baxter US Army base and the leader of a band of misfit soldiers. The movie is based on The Phil Silvers Show, from which it takes its setting, back plot and characters.
