The following weapons were used in the film Memphis Belle:
Browning M2 Aircraft
All of the gunners on Memphis Belle use the .50 caliber Browning M2 Aircraft to defend their B-17F bomber against German fighter planes. As the plane tries to make it home, the gunners are ordered to throw out their Brownings in order to make the damaged bomber lighter to land. Also used in the wings of the USAAF P-51 Mustang fighters.
Flare Pistol
Used by the Commander at the USAAF Base in Britain to signal the B-17 Flying Fortress planes landing.
MG131 machine guns
Although mounted in the wings on the Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighter planes, These are used to attack the fleet of USAAF B-17 bombers raiding Bremen in Germany.
