Assassination (1987)
Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following guns were used in the 1986 film Assassination:
Walther PPK
Secret Service Agent Jay Killian (Charles Bronson) uses a Walther PPK as his personal sidearm. It is most notably seen during the train scene. He later gives it to Agent Loudermilk to cover him.
Heckler & Koch P9S
Agent Tyler Loudermilk keeps a Heckler & Koch P9S as his sidearm, looking similar to Killian's PPK, viewers may not notice the difference.
Ingram MAC-10
Most of the assassins use Ingram MAC-10's to try and kill First Lady Lara Craig (Jill Ireland).
Beretta 92F
A USSS Agent attempting to arrest Bunsen has a Beretta 92F. He fires it uncontrollably into the air when he is pushed against a wall.
Compact M16 Variant
Pritchard Young (William "Billy" Hays) opens fire into the hotel room Killian and Craig are in with intent to shoot the First Lady with an unknown M16 Variant. Killian wrestles it away and shoots him with it outside as the First Lady escapes.
IMI Uzi
USSS Agents and various assassins use the Uzi. The U.S. Secret Service actually does have the Uzi in their arsenal and many agents use them. An example being the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan on March 30, 1981 when Special Agent Bob Wanko pulled an Uzi out of a briefcase to cover the President.
American Derringer Corporation Model 1 Derringer
Killian's backup weapon is a American Derringer Corporation Model 1 Derringer which he offers to the First Lady as a defense weapon. He uses it after being wounded to kill the lead assassin. Killian says it fires a .410 Shotgun Shell that will "mess up your face". He keeps it in an ankle holster.
M1911A1
Killian is seen wielding a Colt M1911A1 in the posters for the film (with his finger on the trigger).
