Resident Evil (1996 VG)
The following weapons appear in the video game Resident Evil:
Beretta 92FS
The members of S.T.A.R.S. carry the Beretta 92FS as their side arms.
Colt Python
Barry Carries a stainless steel modified version of the Colt Python .357 Magnum; it's really powerful, especially against living things. This is one of the most powerful guns in the game that almost always blows a zombies head off. It is dubbed as the 'hand cannon'. In some versions of the PC version, special rounds exist in the game's files called "Dum Dum's" which supposedly increase the damage of the weapon even further.
Remington 870 Shotgun
The Standard 12-gauge 'zombie killer'.

MAC-10
Ingram MAC-10, in 9mm Caliber. It is only found on the PC version by beating the game with Jill under certain conditions. Therefore this gun was not included in the 2002 Gamecube remake.

FN Minimi
Like the Ingram MAC-10, this gun can only be found on the PC version by beating the game with Chris under certain conditions. It does surprisingly little damage - each shot equivalent to a basic handgun round- but is useful for keeping fast-moving enemies at bay.

M202 FLASH
The most powerful weapon in the game, however it's only given to you in the final boss battle by Brad to help you in beating the Tyrant. But it is unlockable, with infinite ammo, upon completing the game within specific conditions.
Flame thrower
The Flame thrower has quite a decent range, and is especially good against the large T-virus spiders. An interesting note is that it appears to be the same design as the M240 Flamer from Aliens, sans the M16 carrying handle.
Arwen 37
A powerful grenade launcher that can use a variety of shells, but has poor range.
Beretta 92FS "Non-Gun"
In the live-action intro, the STARS use Beretta 92FS "Non-Guns" for firing shots.
