Mission: Impossible (1996)
Mission: Impossible is the 1996 motion picture adaptation of the popular 1960's spy series of the same name. The film was directed by Brian De Palma (Scarface) and stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, an agent of the IMF (Impossible Mission Force), who is determined to keep the CIA's NOC list from being falling into the wrong hands while attempting to uncover the mole within the IMF that got his team killed and framed him for their demise. The film would spawn three sequels: Mission: Impossible II (2000), Mission: Impossible III (2006), and the upcoming Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (scheduled for late 2011).

IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) pulls a Beretta 8045 Cougar F on IMF agent Claire Phelps (Emmanuelle Béart) at the beginning of the film. It's hidden in a vase at his team's apartment in Prague.
SIG-Sauer P228
Various IMF agents including IMF director Kittridge (Henry Czerny) and Claire Phelps (Emmanuelle Béart) are seen holding SIG-Sauer P228 handguns. Claire is seen putting her SIG on the table in Prague.
CZ 75B
An IMF agent is seen with a suppressed Czech CZ 75B pistol in the raid of Max's apartment.
Makarov PM
A female IMF agent is seen holding a Makarov PM when she and another IMF team raid the meeting room of Max (Vanessa Redgrave). On his watch viewscreen, Ethan sees a suppressed Makarov being used.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A security guard at the CIA Headquarters in Langley is seen carrying a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with a laser sight and Surefire dedicated forend weaponlight as he escorts the team disguised as firefighters to the room where the alarm went off.
Steyr TMP
Kittridge's right hand man Barnes (Dale Dye) is seen carrying a Steyr TMP as the IMF agents raid Max's room.
Phelps' Custom Firearm
IMF Team Leader Jim Phelps (Jon Voight) assembles and carries a customized Derringer-type firearm when he is on the bullet train. The weapon is assembled from various innocuous radio parts and is fitted with a custom suppressor.
