Talk:The Human Centipede (First Sequence)
Walther PP's
Methinks I've misidentified the cops' guns. Again. Don't worry, I'll fix it. I just thought they were Walthers and only just now noticed the different hammers. - Kooshmeister
- Those are Walthers dude...but they are P5s...not PPs. --Charon68 14:08, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- I made the change. --Jcordell 15:16, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Someone actually had the balls to watch this movie without losing their lunch. Excalibur01 17:39, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- I've heard NOTHING BUT HORRIBLE THINGS about this nauseating film. Just the physiologial way the people are 'connected' is disgusting. The concept alone makes me want to wretch. :( MoviePropMaster2008
- Then you'll probably won't make it through 8 minutes of James Franco trying to amputate his arm with a multi-tool in 127 Hours - Swordfish941
Wait 'till you hear about the sequel, dude. -SasquatchJim.
- It's not so much the disgusting elements that's bad, it's the fact that it has absolutely nothing notable other than the shock elements. The acting is terrible, the cinematography is crap, the pacing in all over the place, and the story is devoid of any logic. It has absolutely no merits other than the gross-out factor.--PistolJunkie 22:01, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
- I enjoyed it. Well, maybe "enjoyed" isn't really the right word, but whatever. I guess I just really love mad scientist movies, bad and good alike. - Kooshmeister
Victor Frankenstein was a mad scientist. Professor Hubert Farnsworth was a mad scientist. Lex Luthor was also a mad scientist...whoever is the main villain of this story is just...stupid.
Frankenstein - "I want to resurrect a dead man by piecing together parts from fresh donors! That'll show people that I can defy God!"
Farnsworth - I suppose I can part with ONE doomsday machine and still be feared"
Luthor - "You see whoever controls technology controls the world. The Roman empire ruled the world because they built roads. The British empire ruled the world because they built ships. America; the atom bomb. And so on and so forth. I just want what Prometheus wanted!"
Heiter - "I want to sew 3 humans together into one being by connecting the intestines together to form a new being."
Frankenstein, Farnsworth and Luthor turns their heads and looked at Heiter with utter disgust and contempt before walking away

- Since Heiter mentioned he had once been a surgeon who specialized in separating conjoined twins, I guess he wanted to see if he could artificially create conjoined people. The whole point is he only does it to see if he can. He has no other reason. As Mark Lungo of Animato! once said, mad scientists' plots don't have to be logical to anyone but themselves. That's why they're, y'know, mad. Granted, this doesn't make the movie any better, but I'm just saying; you're looking for a logical reason for Heiter's experiment where there intentionally isn't one. - Kooshmeister
