Casper Van Dien returns as Col. Johnny Rico, a war hero in the seemingly never ending battle against a race of enormous bugs called the Arachnids. Col. Rico and his squad of troopers are called into action by his old friend Gen. Dix Hauser (Boris Kodjoe) to rescue Starship Captian Lola Beck (Jolene Blalock) and her crew from a bug infested nightmare.

Morita Mk. III

The primary weapon of the mobile infantry in Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, is the Morita Mk. III. It closely resembles the Objective Individual Combat Weapon, complete with grenade launcher and a long scope (which never seems to used by any troopers, apparently aiming is purely optional in the Mobile Infantry).

The weapon itself is actually a Vektor R5 assault rifle, a South African variant of the Galil assault rifle, housed in a very bulky looking gun mold.

Sorry but isn't that an AK-47??? Charon68

It looks like an AK-47 because the R5 which is based off of the Galil, is itself based off the AK-47 frame.

-Only most remotely. R5's have steel skeleton stocks, and synthetic fore grips. They also don't have the angled AK front sight on the barrel, the R series and the Galil have their sights on the gas tube. The red silhouette is definitely an AK, not an R series rifle.

I agree, that is most definitely an AK-47. The R-4 series (and therefore the Galil) may have their actions based off of the AK-47, but they do not truly resemble it.SAWGunner89 15:26, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Although I am fairly sure that the scope in that fabricated weapon does not really work, it is actually not that uncommon to use a combat optic with both eyes open, in fact many sights are designed to allow that. This is so the firer has a greater degree of peripheral vision to maintain situational awareness, something which is key in a true fire-fight. For example, the EOTech HWS series and some models of the Trijicon ACOG are both designed to allow this (Trijicon's in fact has its own name, the BAC, or Bindon Aiming Concept). Just FYI.SAWGunner89 15:31, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

-dude its not a scope its a flashlight look at the picture where the troopers a in a line you can see the shine off of it he is just peering over the gun to be more accurate unless there is a scope built into the flashlight-

Vektor CP1 pistol

The Vektor CP1 pistol was seen on numerous occasions in Starship Troopers 3 with the pistol being seen in the hands of Federation military officers.
