Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is a 1994 comedy starring Jim Carrey as a private investigator who specializes in recovering lost pets. In the film, he takes on the case of the missing mascot of the Miami Dolphins football team. Carrey would reprise his role in 1995's Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.

Malissa Robinson (Courtney Cox) also uses one is her fake hostage taking of Ace's friend Emilio (Tone Lõc) in order to distract the police.

Sgt. Aguado (John Capodice) uses a nickel Colt Commander as his sidearm throughout the film.

When Ace goes out to Ray Finkle's home, he is confronted by Ray's hostile father who greets him at the door with a Double Barreled Shotgun cocked and loaded to the face.
