MacGyver (1985 TV Series)
Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
MacGyver is an action series that aired on ABC from 1985-1992 and starred Richard Dean Anderson as a government troubleshooter who uses his wits as well as everyday items to get himself out of precarious situations. The show was also notable for the main character's aversion to guns, which was attributed to a tragic childhood accident. While the character never was seen firing guns (save for the pilot episode), that didn't preclude him from using them in a non-lethal manner.
The following weapons were used in the television series MacGyver:
Handguns
Taurus PT92
A (sometimes supressed) stainless version was used by Nicolas Von Leer(Kai Wulff) in season 6, episode 14: "Eye of Osiris"
Smith & Wesson Model 28
In Season 1's "Flame's End", MacGyver (Richard Dean Anderson) takes the frame of a Smith & Wesson Model 28 to remove a bolt from a leaking pipe.
Heckler & Koch P9S
The Heckler & Koch P9S is used by several characters in the series, notably in Season 1's "Last Stand" and "To Be A Man".
Beretta 92F

Rifles
M16A1

AKM

Lee-Enfield No.1 MkIII*
The SMLE (No 1 Mk III) is notably held by an Afghan tribal member in Season 1's "To Be A Man".
