Romanian AK "Romak 223"(??)

  • Not 100% sure, but Al's rifle during a desert battle looks to be a Romanian Romak .223 AK Rifle. However it doesn't have the bulged wooden front hand guards and it has a threaded barrel (indicated by the muzzle nut and muzzle nut pin). Anyone else knows for sure, please let me know.
Norinco Type 84 in .223. It has the hooded front sight, which makes it a Chinese AK. This one seems to have had its receiver cover replaced by an AKM-style ribbed one (all Chinese AKs usually have older smooth style) and the furniture looks to be after-market as well. This AK (and/or others like it) also appears in Casino Royale.
