"The Lawgiver"

The primary weapon of a Judge in the film is "The Lawgiver". It's seen primarily used by Judge Dredd (Sylvester Stallone), Judge Hershey (Diane Lane), and Rico (Armand Assante). According to this article [1], the Lawgiver is a Beretta handgun with the futuristic casing built around it. In the film, the gun's capabilities include rapid-fire, grenade launcher, signal flare launcher, and the "double-whammy". It also has a security feature which allows a Judge to operate the gun.
