Seraphim Falls
The following guns were used in the movie Seraphim Falls:
Henry 1860
Carver (Liam Neeson) uses what I think is supposed to be a Henry 1860 rifle in the beginning of the film. A Henry would be period-appropriate since the movie takes place in the 1860s just after the Civil War. I've never seen a Henry without a brass receiver, though, so it seems probable that this is a later gun, possibly a Winchester Model 1876 with the fore-end removed. Anyone else know? It's odd that they'd do this when the rest of the movie uses period-appropriate weapons.
Colt Dragoon
Carver (Liam Neeson) also carries a Colt Dragoon .44 caliber as his personal sidearm. This, again, is appropriate for the time period (and even a bit out-dated!), though it appears to be converted for cartridges.
Colt 1849 Pocket
Madame Louise (Angelica Houston) sells Carver a Colt 1849 Pocket model with a Confederate-style brass frame. It has been converted to fire metallic cartridges, which is odd because I've always been told that brass-framed percussion pistols can't take the pressures that metallic cartridges produce.
Smith & Wesson Schofield
Hayes (Michael Wincott) carries what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Schofield, which would be anachronistic for this movie.
