M1 Garand

The M1 Garand is one of the most common weapons. Joe "Red" Hartsock uses this in almost all levels.

Thompson M1A1

This is another common weapon and is the main weapon of Desola and Red. You learn Red Preffers this weapon in Broters in Arms: Hells Highway

M1A1 Carbine

Some paratroopers are seen using these and on the D-Day Jump you use one.

Commonly used in the game, you start with it in a few levels.

The main sub-machinegun of the Germans.

FG42

Fallschirmjäger Gewehr 42 (Translates roughly to Paratrooper Rifle 42).

A select-fire battle rifle (Note that there's no fire selector in-game, so it always fires automatic if the trigger is held down). Designed and manufactured on demand of the Luftwaffe (German airforce) to fill the role of an all-purpose weapon for their paratroopers.
