Red Dawn (2012)
This a remake of the 1980s film which starred Charlie Sheen and the late Patrick Swayze. Instead of Soviets, the United States is invaded by the Chinese and the setting is modern day Detroit.

Seen as the standard assault rifle of the People's Liberation Army Ground Force (PLAGF). Despite the fact that China does not use Type 56 any more (a Chinese copy of the Russian made AK-47), but are now deploying their new QBZ-95 bullpup rifles.
