The Interpreter
The Interpreter is a 2005 thriller starring Nicole Kidman as an interpreter for the United Nations who overhears a possible assassination plot against the dictator of the fictional African country of Matobo. The movie was the first feature to ever film scenes in the actual UN General Assembly. It also was the final film directed by Sydney Pollack.

SIG Sauer P229
The SIG-Sauer P229 is seen used by the Secret Service Agents throughout the film, including Agent Tobin Keller (Sean Penn) and Agent Dot Woods (Catherine Keener).
M1911A1
Matobo dictator Edmond Zuwanie (Earl Cameron) carries a custom stainless steel M1911A1 with ivory grips as the weapon he carries with him at all times. Silvia Broome (Nicole Kidman) later takes it from him and points it at his head.
Glock 19
A suppressed Glock 19 is seen used by the hitman trying to kill Silvia Broome (Nicole Kidman). A Glock is also the sidearm of Zuwanie's head of security Nils Lud (Jasper Christensen).
Henry US Survival Break-Down Rifle
A Henry US Survival break-down rifle is the weapon used in the attempted assassination of Matobo dictator Edewmond Zuwanie (Earl Cameron). The assassin assembles it out of a coffee cart leg and pieces hidden in a bathroom.
M240 GPMG
The M240 machine gun is seen briefly mounted on the Coast Guard boat patrolling outside the UN meeting.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Members of the Secret Service Uniformed Division are seen on the roof of the United Nations armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A2 rifles.
FN P90
A member of the Secret Service Uniformed Division is seen on the roof of the United Nations armed with a FN P90.
Remington 700PSS
Snipers are positioned on the roof are armed with Remington 700PSS sniper rifles.
AKM
The AKM is fired by the child soldier in the opening of the film. Also seen in flashbacks, pictures, and videos of the war and fighting in Africa.
