The Closer
The following weapons were used in the television series The Closer:
Glock 26
Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson (Kyra Sedgewick) and Detective Irene Daniels (Gina Ravera) both carry the Glock 26 as their sidearms.
Glock 19
Lt. Tao (Michael Paul Chan) carries the Glock 19 as his duty weapon. The Glock 19 is also carried by Agent Fritz Howard (Jon Tenney).
Beretta 92FS
Lt. Provenza (G.W. Bailey) and Sgt. David Gabriel (Corey Reynolds) carry the standard LAPD-issue Beretta 92FS as their duty weapons. Detective Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) also carries a Beretta, which is used to shoot a mob hitman several times in the chest after he had killed an FBI agent and shot up the squad room with Lt. Provenza's weapon.
Smith & Wesson 4566
Lieutenant Andy Flynn (Anthony John Denison)'s sidearm is a Smith & Wesson 4566.
M4A1
In the episode "Time Bomb", the Major Crimes Division engages in a shootout at a shopping mall aggainst a heavily armed and armored spree killer who is carrying an M4A1 carbine assault rifle. This gun is used to wound Detective Sanchez. Inexplicably, the episode claims that the boy (as well as his friends) purchased the M4 and other fully automatic weapons from a sporting goods store at the same mall (which is impossible in real life).
