The Fifth Element
The following weapons were used in the film The Fifth Element:
Vektor CP1
A Vektor CP1 pistol was used as the basis of Korben Dallas' (Bruce Willis) handgun.
AK-47
The Mangalore assault rifles props were built around the AK-47 series assault rifles.
AKMS
The Z-140 assault gun the mugger pointed at Korben Dallas appears to have been built from an AKMS rifle.
"Zorg ZF-1 Pod Weapon"
Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg (Gary Oldman) makes a deal with the Mangalores that involves selling them his company's new Zorg ZF-1 pod weapons system. The ZF-1 contains a machine gun, rocket launcher, poison arrow launcher, net launcher, flamethrower, and freeze ray. Simon Atherton, the armorer who designed and built the weapons used in The Fifth Element, has said in an interview for a science-fiction magazine that the ZF-1 was built around a 5.45x39mm AKS-74U carbine.
AK-103
Disguised AK-103 rifles were used by the crew of the Fhloston Paradise space liner in fighting the Mangalores.
Mauser M712
A Mauser M712 machine pistol is used by Billy (Luke Perry) in Egypt in 1914. While it looks appropriate for the time period, the M712 was produced in the 1930s and is thus an anachronism.
Steyr AUG
A modified Steyr AUG rifle could be seen among the weapons Korben Dallas has collected from various sources at his apartment.
Colt Commando
A modified Colt Commando can be seen among Korben Dallas' gun collection.
Calico M960 Submachine Gun
A Calico M960 is used by one of the Mangalores disguised as humans to shoot at NYPD officers at JFK International Airport.
Browning M2 Heavy Machine Gun
The heavy machine gun used by the Mangalores onboard the Fhloston Paradise space liner was a Browning M2 heavy machine gun. The Browning M2 used had a shortened barrel and was fitted with a few props to make the weapon look more futuristic.
Beretta 92FS
Beretta 92FS pistols were used as the basis of the Mangalore handguns.
- It looked more like a Desert Eagle was used fore the basis - Swordfish941
I just found this photo of a screen used prop up for auction and it looks as if the Mangalore gun was also based on the Vektor CP1.
