The M1911A1 is seen used by Lt. Myron Goldman (Stephen Caffrey) and Lt. John McKay (Dan Gauthier).
Assault Rifles
M16A1
The M16 rifle was the main rifle of the U.S. Army soldiers in Vietnam. Seen carried by most of the platoon in the series.
Colt XM177
The XM177 rifle is mainly seen being used by SFC Clayton "Zeke" Anderson (Terence Knox).
M14
The M14 Rifle was seen twice, used by Sgt. Block and Lt. John McKay (Dan Gauthier) as sniper rifles.
XM16E1
The XM16E1 Rifle was seen mostly in the third season by the U.S. Army soldiers.
Norinco Type 56
The Norinco Type 56 was the main gun of the NVA and VC soldiers.

The M2 Carbine was used by Sgt. Marcus Taylor (Miguel A. Nunez, Jr.) in some of the SOG missions.
