Lake Placid (1999)
Cobray 37mm Launcher
Sherriff Keough (Brendan Gleeson) arms himself with a Cobray 37mm Launcher (standing in for a 40mm grenade launcher) with a custom long barrel, equipped with a folding stock to kill the Crocodile in Black Lake much easier. "Whatever's out there, one shot with this and its dead." He ultimately uses it to dispatch one of the Crocodiles.
Winchester Model 70
A few of these rifles can be seen in the possession of multiple law enforcement officers in the film. Sherrif Keough (Brendan Gleeson) and Deputy Stevens (Richard Leacock) can each be seen toting Model 70 rifles as the small group search for the crocodile and discover the head of their fellow officer. Deputy Sharon Gare (Meredith Salenger) can be seen with one of these rifles near the end and uses it to fire at least one shot at the crocodile when it charges the truck.
Winchester Model 1200
Jack Wells (Bill Pullman) can be seen what looks like a Winchester Model 1200 shotgun when they are hunting for the crocodile and come across the deputy's head and footprint of the crocodile.
Ruger GP-100
All of the law enforcement officers in the film carry these Ruger revolvers as sidearms. Sherriff Keough (Brendan Gleeson) pulls it out and scares Hector Cyr when he investigates a bump in the night. Deputy Sharon Gare (Meredith Salenger) fires her Ruger out of Hector's helicopter window when one of the crocodiles attacks it. Jack Wells (Bill Pullman) also uses a Ruger near the end of the film and fires six shots at the crocodile futiley as it aoproaches Kelly.
