Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area (Korean title: 종이의 집: 공동경제구역, Jongi-ui Jip: Gongdonggyeongjeguyeok; lit. "The House of Paper: Joint Economic Area") is the 2022 Korean adaptation of the first season of the 2017-2021 Spanish crime drama Money Heist . The series takes place in an alternate 2025 in a mid-reunification South and North Korea, and follows a group of criminals led by an individual only known as "The Professor" as they attempt to take control of and print 4 trillion Korean won (around 2.9 billion USD) in the Unified Korea Mint of the Joint Economic Area, an economic zone on the borders of and managed by the two Koreas.
