Insomnia (2002)
Insomnia is a 2002 film starring Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Hilary Swank.
The following guns were seen in the film Insomnia:
Walther PPK
Will Dormer (Al Pacino) carries one as a backup weapon, and accidentally shoots his partner with it. In the film it is referred to as being a 9mm, when in reality a PPK in chambered in .32 and .380.
Technically it would be a 9mm if it is chambered in .380ACP. The German caliber of that is 9mm Kurz (short).
Smith & Wesson model 10
Walter Finch (Robin Williams) uses a Smith & Wesson Model 10, .38 Special that once belonged to his uncle. He used it to shoot Detective Farrell (Larry Holden) in the leg in the beachfront scene. Dormer finds it after Finch drops it, and later uses it to try and frame Finch for shooting his partner Hap Eckhardt. However, Finch outsmarts Dormer and passes the frame on to Randy Stetz (Jonathan Jackson).
Double Barreled Shotgun
Walter Finch (Robin Williams) shoots at Dormer and Ellie Burr with a shotgun at the films climax.
Glock 17
Carried by Ellie Burr (Hilary Swank). Ellie actually carries either a Model 22 or 23. I say this becuase in the bar scene when dicussing finding the 9mm shell casing, she says, "None of us carries a 9mm weapon or a backup weapon." So no 9mms means they are likely carrying .40 caliber Model 22 or 23s.
Smith & Wesson 4505
Carried as a Primary weapon by Will Dormer (Al Pachino) and Hap Eckhart (Martin Donovan) File:4505.jpg
