They Call Me Jeeg is a 2015 Italian superhero film. The film stars Claudio Santamaria as Enzo Ceccotti, a small-time thief who finds himself with superhuman strength and healing after falling into radioactive waste in the Tiber river. After catching the attention of criminal kingpin Fabio "The Gypsy" Cannizzaro (Luca Marinelli), he decides to abandon his life of crime and use his powers to stop him. The film contains thematic ties to the Steel Jeeg anime series which aired from 1975 to 1976.
