Shotgun or rifle?

My guess is that the double barrel shotgun is actually a double rifle of some sort, as it has a high pofile rear sight that you would not normally see on a shotgun like this. --commando552 (talk) 09:26, 28 July 2022 (EDT)

Dude, is life crazy or what? This H&H Double rifle is a beautiful match. https://stevebarnettfineguns.com/holland-and-holland-rifles-for-sale/holland-holland-hammer-double-rifle-450-bpe Black Irish Paddy (talk) 09:42, 28 July 2022 (EDT)
It's close, but the one used here is an underlever. --commando552 (talk) 09:59, 28 July 2022 (EDT)
There is something strange with the hammers. If I can see correct, on the second screenshot there are something like protruding pinfire cartridge primers on which the hammers are ready to fall... or maybe these are thick rims of large caliber rimfire ammunition. --Greg-Z (talk) 10:10, 28 July 2022 (EDT)
Not quite sure which part you are talking about, do you mean something other than the diagonal firing pins that can be seen more clearly in the first image? These are what the hammers hit when they fall, and they hit the middle of the centrefire ammo that can be seen in the first image. Or is it something else you are talking about? --commando552 (talk) 10:31, 28 July 2022 (EDT)
Sorry, I misinterpret this part. Concentrated only on the second image without paying attention to the first one. Then I concur, this must be a double rifle, maybe a kind of Express gun by H&H or Rigby. This Rigby double rifle looks similar to the screen gun, I guess. --Greg-Z (talk) 11:29, 28 July 2022 (EDT)
